Flex your music muscles as we explore creating music. Compose on your instrument using garage band, and as an ensemble.

The Right Start: Piano Camp
The Right Start Piano Camp! June 12th - 15th, 2:00pm - 3:30pm for elementary aged kids.
Dive right in to master: Note Names, Music Reading, Favorite Songs, and other basic skills needed as a beginner player! Group Lesson with individual practice time.
Bach to Beatles: Messy Music Camp
Bach to Beatles: Messy Music Summer Camp! June 12th - 15th, 9:00am - 11:30am, for rising 1st graders through 5th graders! Come explore music through the ages with paints and instruments!

Egg Bash Obstacle Dash
Get excited for Christ Little Rock’s annual Easter Egg Bash Obstacle Dash!! An exciting Easter event for all ages and families! Join us as we build relationships and build bridges within our community to serve and share the love of Jesus!
Egg Dash Races on April 8 will begin every 10 minutes within each half hour for various age groups, beginning with Age 4 and Under continuing up to Age 12. Each finisher will receive a candy treat and medal! The Toddler Course will be open during the entire event! Concessions are available for purchase!
Art of Play Kick off!
Art of Play Year 'Round is getting kicked off this September! Be sure that you get your students registered for an experience that they won't want to miss!
This year in Art of Play we will be focussing on the following skills and our 2 performances.
Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, Flexibility and Adaptability, Initiative and Self-Direction, Social and Cross-Cultural Skills, Productivity and Accountability, Leadership and Responsibility
A.O.P. promises to help prepare your child for scholarship and job interviews, class project presentations, and so much more!!
We will have a performance half way through the year to showcase the skills that we have been working on, and at the end of the year we will have a full production!

Fall/Winter Retreat
Come and join us for a showcase of our gifted students' art, music, and drama skills. They have been working hard all semester long so be sure to invite friends and family out so watch and participate with us.
There will be a cookie and punch reception afterwards as a time of fellowship and connecting with your student's instructor!

Art of Play Fall Semester
Our drama miniature semester "Art of Play" will be kicking off it's Fall semester on the week of Sept 23rd.
This is a 8 week (one meeting per week) long class where your student will learn how to present themselves in front of audience, how to "Ham it up" on a stage, and how to be confident in everything that they do!
The classes are designed for Kindergarten-6th grade and will be split into 2 different age groups, k-2 , and 3-6.
The semester will conclude with an Art of Play Performance on November 13th at our Fall/Winter Little Rock School of the Arts Recital

First All LRSotA recital!
We have had a fun and hectic semester so far at LRSotA, and we want to showcase some of the great things that we have learned.
Christ Little Rock (Our founding organization) will be hosting us for our first recital. This recital will be held on the evening of March 20th in the Christ Little Rock Worship Center.
The schedule will include showcase performances by all students of LRSotA, and will conclude with a performance put on by our very own "Art of Play".
So, mark your calendars now and starting inviting those friends and family members for what should be a fantastic recital.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Hark a theatre summer camp!
The Art of Play Summer Camp is a 4 day drama workshop where students will learn the basics of drama. Each day will be so jammed full of fun and hands on learning that it is certain to be a blast for ALL!
This is for any students coming from Kindergarten -6th grade (’14-’15 school year). Our theme for this Summer is “Fractured Fairy Tales” where our imagination take the tales of our childhood and brings them to life in a whole new way!
Each day will include snacks as well as time for recess and eating home packed lunches. We will be hosting daily from 9am-3pm, and we will offer “after-camp care” until 5pm for those families who desire it.

Art of Play Begins!
On February 4th and 5th we will officially get our "Art of Play" program kicked off.
Wednesday the 4th is for our 3rd-5th graders, and Thursday the 5th is for our k-2nd graders.
Art of Play is a 8 week drama skills course that will conclude the minis semester with a production showcasing all the skills that they've learned over the year!
